Safe and Compassionate Care

We view health through a biopsychosocial lens, acknowledging that your physical well-being is deeply connected to your emotional landscape and life history. Our treatments are designed to meet you exactly where you are, fostering a safe environment for your nervous system to rest and recalibrate.

  • Pacing that honors your nervous system
  • Language that prioritizes your choice
  • A quiet, sensory-friendly environment

Being trauma-informed means we prioritize your agency at every step. By working with the body's natural stress responses rather than pushing through them, we help restore balance and ease for tired parents and those navigating the complexities of chronic pain.

Meet Your Practitioner

Anne-Marie has been dedicated to manual therapy since 2015, following her 5-year + thesis training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto and is an active member of OsteopathyBC. Prior to studying osteopathy, Anne-Marie obtained a B.Sc. in Kinesiology through the University of Saskatchewan.

Her journey has taken her from international volunteer work in Nicaragua and Peru to starting her practice in Saskatoon, Sk. where she also taught yoga and offered personal training services for a number of years.

In 2017, she and her family moved to Vancouver Island where they now call Nanaimo home. Anne-Marie's osteopathic practice has evolved over the years, having worked with people of all ages through various stages of life.

Her work focuses on gentle, nervous system-led care for those navigating complex pain and the perinatal period. She believes that true healing begins with a safe environment and being deeply heard. Anne-Marie integrates a clinical, evidence-based background with a profound respect for each person’s lived experience. This trauma-informed approach ensures that every session is paced to honor your body’s unique needs, never pushing past what feels comfortable.

As a mother of two, she understands the physical and emotional demands of the parenting rollercoaster. Her own personal challenges with early infant  breastfeeding inspired her to specialize in supporting families through pediatric, lactation, and postpartum recovery.

Whether you are seeking relief from chronic symptoms or gentle support for your newborn, Anne-Marie offers a calm, welcoming space to rest, recover, and find balance.
